About Korean military-Wearing the rubber shoes upside down

Screen Shot 2015-02-17 at 7.57.17 AM

All Korean men have to go to the military about 2 years. Now my brother is also in military that I get interested in the topic of ‘Korea military‘.

When boyfriend goes to the military, the girlfriend has to wait about 2 years that it is quite a long time. Accordingly, there are couples who broke up before the men go to the military or when the men is in the military. About the couples whose men are in military, there is a Korean proverb “Wearing the rubber shoes upside down”(고무신 거꾸로 신는다). This mean when the boyfriend is in the military, girlfriend betray and date with other guy.

Screen Shot 2015-01-06 at 11.28.44 PM

Where did the “Wearing the rubber shoes upside down” proverb came from?

When the Korea was liberated from Japan on 1945, people were commonly wearing rubber shoes. At that time, all young men had to serve in the military as nowadays. There is a story of this proverb’s origin. While the boyfriend is in a military, girlfriend went to the same room with other guy. However, after that, the girlfriend was trying to leave the room in a hurry and she wore the rubber shoes in opposite. This is because she had no time to wear it properly. I doubt if it is possible to wear the rubber shoes upside down, but might be possible if someone is really in a hurry. 🙂 This proverb’ story is commonly known among Korean.

“Wearing the rubber shoes upside down” is still used commonly. For example, when the guy goes to the military, the boyfriend say to the girlfriend “Don’t wear the rubber shoes upside down”.

How Koreans celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Screen Shot 2015-02-14 at 12.42.49 AM

In Korea, Valentine’s Day is simply a way for women to show their interest and affection to men by giving them chocolate. This custom of gifting chocolate started in Japan in 1936, and this Japanese style of Valentine Day came to Korea. Although Valentine Day is used to cater more towards couples, or those wanting to confess their secret loves using a romantic day as an excuse, in recent years, Valentine Day has expanded to include family, co-workers and pretty much anyone you come into contact with on those days. Accordingly, female coworkers give the chocolate to the male co-workers and female students give to the male friends.

However the presents in Valentine Day’s are not limited to the chocolate. Recently, Korean man’s wish lists have changed, due to the current economic climate. The research, which you can see in below, is the list of the presents what Korean men want in Valentine Day.

Screen Shot 2015-02-14 at 1.21.25 AM

As you can see in the survey, majority of men would prefer to receive cash.

However, giving the chocolate is the most common presents in Valentine Day and many women (or girl) are interested in, making the handmade chocolates.

Screen Shot 2015-02-14 at 12.44.59 AM

Hand made chocolates and the hand written letter are also the good way to impress the Korean boyfriends. 🙂

Screen Shot 2015-02-14 at 1.54.49 AM

Then what about the men? The men get their turn to give presents to women on March 14th-White Day. Men are expected to reciprocate with non-chocolate candy to the women who remembered them the previous month.

Screen Shot 2015-02-14 at 2.30.39 AM

Consequently, you can see all kinds of candy offering in all the same places in Korea as you saw chocolate in Valentine Day.

Interesting Korean chopstick tools

Screen Shot 2015-01-28 at 3.34.35 PM

When you think the Asian people, probably you will suppose they are good at chopstick. Yes it is true. But we are not born with good at chopsticks. Korean usually start learning chopstick when they are 3~4 years old that since that age naturally having practice in every meal. In my case, I got used to the chopstick and did quite well,  when I was 7~8 years old.:)

Today I will introduce about  special chopstick tool which Korean children use when learning the chopstick and also the other kinds of interesting chopstick tool.

4 kinds of Chopstick tools

1) Edison Chopstick

Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 10.18.31 PM

Early 2000s the Korea company get patent of this Edison chopstick. It is  good for training. the chopstick because the rings in the chopstick help for fingers to keep still. The way of using it is put the forefinger and middle finger in each chopstick’s ring.

However some of the Korean adults are still poor at using  chopstick or the position of using it is not right as below picture. The left position  is not right because the chopstick  is crossed. The right position is holding the chopstick too low that it is not right.

Screen Shot 2015-01-26 at 12.45.18 AM Screen Shot 2015-01-26 at 12.45.10 AM

Accordingly, there is Edison chopstick which is for adult.

성인용 젓가락

The way of using it is as same as the children one. Put the forefinger, middle finger in each ring.

성인용 젓가락123

2) Spoon+Chopstick

Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 10.14.26 PM

Usually the children who are not good at chopstick use  this. When I was in elementary school, some of my friends used and it seemed easy to grab the food.

The way of using it is, when you want to grab the food just use as the tongs, and if you want to eat the soup, make no space between the tools and lift it.

3) One ring chopstick

wjfkfjWhen using the  Edison chopstick gets used to it, one ring chopstick is good for next step of practicing the chopstick. It has only one ring that you have to fix the rest of the fingers well. Use when someone is possible to control the power of handling the chopstick and if it is possible to move the fingers quite freely. This is also the popular kinds of the chopstick for kids to practice.

4) Chopstick tongs

Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 10.09.03 PM

This chopstick tongs are not common, but it is easy to use it. Especially the one you can see in the picture has both spoon and chopstick. 🙂 If you want to grab the food, use as the tongs and if you want to drink a soup,  grab it in opposite way and use it.

Thanks for reading and if you want to learn the chopstick, I recommend the Edison chopstick.  🙂

All about the Korean delivery culture

Screen Shot 2015-02-01 at 3.03.04 AM

In many countries, delivery is quite common, but there is a unique delivery service what you can only see in Korea. Deliver service is common in Korea that you can deliver anything such as all food, document, present…etc and the price is cheap. You can eat almost all the food like pizza, chicken, Hamburger in a same price as you eat in the store. There is no tip culture in Korea that you don’t have to give tip to the delivery men.Today I will introduce about the interesting story about the Korean delivery culture.

1. Quick Service

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 9.04.34 AM

Quick service means delivering with motorcycle, that it is quicker than any other delivery system. Usually people use this service to deliver the document, parcel or just about anything that’s not too heavy or big. Normally it took 1 hour for the item to be delivered. But sometimes they deliver the person! :O

Every year 3rd grade in high school has the university entrance exam which is like the SAT in US, but this test is only in once a year. So if you are late for the test, you have to wait one more year to have a test. Because of this  reason on the test day, you can see the unusual sight. One of the interesting scene is if the students wake up late or in a heavy traffic that they are expected to be late at the exam, they use the “Quick service”. I saw this news in every year after the university entrance test day.

2. Deliver Everywhere, Anytime

The screen shots in below is the Korea TV program-“I live alone”. In this show, the French men( name: Fabien) ordered the food in the park.

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 10.36.02 AM

Subtitle means: “Does the food delivers in the park?”

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 10.44.41 AM

Within 30minutes,  the food was  delivered in the park as you can see in the left picture.:)

You will be curious, how the deliver men can find the place between the large park? But in Korea everywhere, anytime the delivery is possible. When I was a university student, I frequently ordered food with delivery and the food was delivered normally 15minutes and no later than 30minutes. Also the deliver men know the specific place in university that if I ask to the delivery men “Please bring the food in business school building”, then he brings the food to the right place.

It is common to deliver food at night or even the raining, snowing in outside. But the picture in below, seems quite dangerous. Motorcycle accidents during delivery happen quite frequently in Korea. 🙁  I also experienced once that I ordered the food in chicken store but the food was not coming. I called the store and they said “Sorry but the delivery person had an accidence in the road that it will be delayed”.

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 11.20.36 AM

3. Metal Delivery Box

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 9.17.06 AM

If you are walking the street in Korea, the men delivering with the motorcycle and the metal box  is easily seen. Korean Chinese food restaurant start delivering the food since 1950’s and they are using the steel box in deliver.

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 9.19.58 AMThe advantage of delivering with metal container is in preserving the heat well. It can keep the food warm during the deliver, also the steel bag is hygienic, because the food stained in the bag is easily cleaned. Many Korean food has a soup that the soup can be flowed out of the bowl during delivering this soup food. Accordingly, the bag which can be easily be cleaned is the  important element of choosing the deliver bag.

4. Fast food Delivery Service

Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 11.24.16 AM

All the major Fast food stores in Korea are delivering the food: McDonald, Burger King, Lotteria. Also the good thing is they deliver in 24hours and if you order the food more than $5, no charge for delivery.

Thanks for reading and I would be thankful if you leave the comment of your thinking or about your countries’ unique deliver culture. 🙂

What is the Korean study room?

Screen Shot 2015-01-19 at 8.46.26 PM

This is the one of the common place where Korean students study. Mostly high school students use this study room, but also the middle school students, the adult who are preparing the test and few elementary students use the study room.

제목 없3음  Screen Shot 2015-01-19 at 8.51.10 PM

In the study room there is a front desk that people charge the money and get the seat to study. After you assigned the seat you go to the passage which seems as the right picture.
독서실1In each room there are many desks and when the high school, middle school exam day comes these seats get all full. As you can see in the left photo, there are curtain in each desk. When students study many of them draw a curtain and study. For my experience, it blocks the back and side of the view that it is good for concentrating.:)

I started using the study room when I was 13years old that I usually did homework, prepare and review the class. The cost is about 7K~10K KRW($7-10) for one day and 140K~200K KRW($140-200) for one month. But it is depends on the place where it is.

I think there are 2 main reasons why this kind of the study room has been developed in Korea.

First, Korean students study hard and they need some place to study until midnight.

The Korean high school life is quite hard for studying. Normally they wake up at 6:30am and leave the house an study until 12-2am. The common students’ daily life cycle is study in school until 4-5pm and then go to the Hagwon(private after-school academies). When the Hagwon is finished, they go to the public or privates study room. Finally come home at12-2am. So the study room is one of the popular place for students to study after the school and the Hagwon are finished. Accordingly, there are many Korean study room and running the study room is the one of the well known business in Korea.

In Korea, many things are determined only with exam and we call this “Gosi system”. Gosi is the difficult civil servant examinations that if someone want to be a lawyer, middle, high school teacher, public institution employees…etc, they all need to pass the hard test. Normally these test has 2steps and it only has once in a year. If someone failed the test, they should wait another one year to take a test. The number of selecting is decided that some test only select 10-20 people in a year and the competition goes to 100:1 or more than that. Because of this reason, passing the exam is really hard that normally it took 2-3years. Accordingly, students study 13-16hours in one day and many of them study in Korea study room. In Seoul there are special towns for studying the national exam which are called Sinlimdong and Noryangjin that in these towns there are lots of study room.

Exotic type of the Study room

1. One room for one person(Study cube)

Screen Shot 2015-01-19 at 9.21.11 PMWhat you can see in the left photo is the study room for one person and it is called ‘study cube’. In some of the study room it is also prepared that people can use it. But the price is little more expensive than other common study room which you saw in the above picture. When you are studying, you can close the door that it is free in the noise and good for concentrating. However for some of the students this place gives the feeling of stuck that they don’t prefer this place to study.

2. Study room in home

Screen Shot 2015-01-19 at 9.35.45 PM

This is the common desk which is in the Korean students’ room. But Some of them prefer the below one that they put the study room in home.

Screen Shot 2015-01-19 at 9.37.42 PM

One of my friend had this study table in home and I asked “why you bought and put in home?”. Then she said “It is good for concentrating”.

Pros and cons of study room

I used the private study place for more than 10 years in my life and I will explain the pros and cons depends on my experience.

  1. Good for concentrating:

Blocks are both side of your seat that there is nothing to disturb your sight, and there is no TV, computer which can interrupt your study.

2. Get good effect from others:

Other people are studying in the same study room, and you can get the desire to study. When other people are studying hard, you will feel that I should study hard too.

  1. Can feel stuffy:

The study room’s table and the space are small. In my case, sometimes I felt stuffy that couldn’t study in study room anymore in that day. The blocks in side of the table can good for concentrating, but sometimes that can make you feel stuffy

  1. Have to pay money:

If you study in home or in public library, you don’t have to pay money. But this place cost money for everyday. 140K~200K KRW($140-200) for month can be a big money for students.

3. Except the study table, it is dark:

In the first picture in this article, you can see the study room is dark. Personally I don’t like this dark. This is because it made me sleepy and for me this environment made my eyes to have astigmatism. After I entered the university and stopped studying in study room, astigmatism of my eyes got disappeared.:)

Thanks for reading and if you have some exotic table in your country, it would be grateful to leave the comment about this or the link.

Do you know the Korea “Coffee mix”?

제목 없음

There are many types of coffee such as coffee shop’s coffee, can coffee, capsule coffee, filter coffee..etc. The coffee mix is popular in Korea that it was sold more than a rice in a market. Korean eats the rice every day but recently we drink 7billion mix coffee in a year. Haha 7 billion is the word population.

Then what is in Mix coffee?

People usually call the coffee mix as ‘mix coffee’ or ‘stick coffee’ in Korea. The ingredient of the mix coffee is grind coffee beans, sugar, creamer…etc.

The first instant mixed coffee pocket was invented by the Korean Dong Shu Food company in December 1976. Korean has “Pali-Pali” culture which means “Hurry-up!” or “Faster!” that we also prefer to eat fast, drink fast. Accordingly Korean are addicted to the mix coffee, which can quickly make and drink, that it is easily seen in everywhere such as home, office, school, coffee machine in public place.

How to make delicious mix coffee?

You can see how to drink mix coffee in the Maxim Mocha Gold Mild article.

Also, I will give you the tips for making delicious mix coffee.:)

1. When pouring the mix in a cup, you can control the sugar content! Because the sugar is in the back of the mix pocket, you can control by holding the end of it. Want less sugar? Pinch the end! Then less sugar will be poured into your cup.

Screen Shot 2015-01-17 at 8.52.24 PM2. Use the paper cup. It is easier to put the right amount of water. The proper amount of water in a one mix coffee package is 90ml and the paper cup is 195ml. So fill only half of the cup with the water. So the total amount of water and the coffee powder will be 80% in the paper cup as you can see in the right side of the picture.

3. Pour the hot water two times separately.

: Put the coffee, creamer, sugar first which is in the max coffee package, and then just pour the small amount of the water to melt that ingredient, After the coffee powder is melt, put the rest of the water. It will help for melting the sugar totally and the taste will be smooth.

4.Put the fresh milk instead of the creamer.
: There are ‘black mix’ which is one type of the mix coffee, but doesn’t have the creamer inside. Make the coffee strong with this black mix, and then put the milk instead of the creamer. The good amount of the milk is the double of the coffee. Then instant coffee latte completed.

When you stir the coffee, you can do with a small spoon or with the coffee pocket. Many Korean stirs with coffee pocket. However, I don’t recommend stirring with a coffee pocket as the harmful ingredient can come out from the plastic pocket when it is in the hot water.

Mix coffee is delicious and easy to make, but also has a weakness. Pros and cons of the mix coffee are as below.

1. It is really cheap! Only $0.1 for one pocket.

2. Mix coffee has the sweet taste that it helps the people to relieve the stress with cheap cost.

3. You can make and drink the coffee easily. Just put the mix pocket in the cup and pour the hot water. You don’t have to put coffee, prime, sugar separately.

1.High calories: Mix coffee has quite a lot of sugar inside that one mix pocket is 55~69kalories.

Starbucks’ ham& sandwich is 246kcal, so if you drink 4-5mix coffee pockets, that means you are having a one meal.

치즈 모짜랠라 샌드위치 스타벅스

In my experience, mix coffee is quite addictive and I drank 3-4 cups of mix coffee everyday. This is common in Korea that there are much Korean who drink 3~4 cups of mix coffee in each day as me.

2. If you make the coffee with the mix coffee powder, the coffee amount is the 80% of the paper cup. Accordingly, the coffee amount can be a lack for you.

Even if the mix coffee has cons, I assume you should try this at least once in your life. Probably you will like the taste and the easy way of making it.

About Korean military-What Korean girlfriend send to the soldier boyfriend?

As the all Korean men have to go to the military for 2 years, many girlfriends have the soldier boyfriend. When the boyfriend is in a military, Korean girlfriends frequently send the present for him.

Today I want to introduce about the popular winter items which Korean girl friends commonly send to the soldier boyfriend. Korea winter is very cold(January is -2.4C(28)) that winter is the most hard time for soldiers.  Accordingly, stuff for keeping warm is a popular item to send.

1. Items for keeping warm

Screen Shot 2015-01-07 at 12.12.30 AM

Hot pack

Army supplies the hot pack for soldiers, but this amount is lack for them. Also it is in P.X(Post Exchange which is the grocery in military),but the soldiers common think is “Outside product quality is better than P.X’ military product”. Because of this reason, soldiers prefer to get the Hot pack for presents.

Hot pack is the essential item in warming the cold hands and foot and it helps the soldiers to survive in cold weather training.

Screen Shot 2015-01-07 at 12.48.13 AM

Gloves, woolen socks, earmuffs are the common items for sending to the soldier.

Screen Shot 2015-01-11 at 10.48.33 PM

But the fur shoe insole is the recently popular items for soldiers. Soldiers are doing a training in a cold weather and it is possible to suffer from frostbite. Fur shoe insole is not only good for preventing the frostbite but also make the foot tired less.

2. Skin Moisturizer

Screen Shot 2015-01-07 at 12.37.10 AM

Korea winter is cold and dry that solders are easy to have cracked hands and foot. Accordingly, body lotion,Vaseline and lip balm are popular items for solders’ present.

3. Underwear(Heattech)

(Screen Shot 2015-01-11 at 11.15.24 PM

Heattech is the underwear which is made from UNIQLO(Japanese company). It is light but makes the body warm that in 2014 and 2015 it is sold a lot in Korea. Even many similar products came out in a market. The advantage of Heattech  is light and warm that it is also the popular item for sending to the soldiers.

The interesting thing is in Korea there are many companies which people use  when sending presents to the soldiers. The type of the companies  are not only online shopping but also stores. Usually, soldier’s girlfriends, soldier’s family use these shops. The advantage of using these shops is that people can easily select the items which to send or set of the present which is already prepared. People usually send presents to soldiers in birthday, Seollal(Korean lunar calendar’s new year day),Chuseok(Korean thanks giving day)…etc. This kind of companies will consistently grow in Korea until the Korean men’s mandatory military service exists as now.

Banchangage-Korean side dish market

Screen Shot 2015-01-03 at 8.16.22 PM

This is the typical Korean restaurant meal picture. Lots of side dishes!!

Korean normally has every lunch and dinner like this. When Korean eating in home, just the average side dishes numbers are little less than above picture. In general Korean home ,people usually eat meal with “3-5side dishes, rice, soup”.

Making just one of the side dishes is hard for me! But the Korean housewife have to prepare about 4-5 kinds of foods for each meal. Because of this difficulty, from 2000s new type of market, which is called Banchangage(Side dish market) appeared.

This market sells the food but it is not a restaurant nor Take-out restaurant. It sells food for eating at home, but need some easy cook after buying. 😉 It is heating the food and displacing the food in plates as the food seems just made in home. The amount of the food they sell in one time is more than a once meal that normally Korean eat the side dish food about 2-3times after they bought.

Many Korean men have a romantic ideas about marriage that the wife cooks the food for him, and of course they want it.

Screen Shot 2015-01-06 at 9.47.23 PM

However nowadays many Korean women have a job also after the marriage that the women’s life style have changed. They prefer eating meal in restaurant and some of them frequently use the Banchangage(side-dish market) for preparing meal in home.

The below screen shot is part of the “Honey;Son-in-law-Guest” TV program (“자기야 백년손님”in Korean). This is talk show program which the guest are Korean celebrity couples. In below screen shot, they talked about their opinion of wife’s buying side dishes act in Banchangage when preparing dinner in home.

Screen Shot 2015-01-03 at 8.30.21 PM

Men: “The skill of warming the food is really improved”.(It is a sarcastic comment of wife’s act of buying food in Banchangage)

Women: “Going a Banchangage(Side-dish market) for buying a food is a great effort”.

Screen Shot 2015-01-03 at 8.30.32 PM

Men: (the husband talked to his wife)”Why we even buy the soup from the Banchangage(Side-dish market)?”->This means “Buying other side dishes is ok. But why you even not make the soup in home and buy?”

In this TV program called Jagiya(자기야)”, Some of the husbands complained that their wife are not making food but buying the side dish. However most of the women are positive for buying food that they say it is hard to make all the side dishes in every meal. They think “we should assign making side dishes to the professional(side dish market) who can make well”.:)

In my opinion, the growth of the Banchangage(Side dish market) in Korea, reflects the change of the Korean society. Only 15~20years ago, many Korean thought women should prepare the meal in home and they should do the household affair by themselves.

Screen Shot 2015-01-06 at 10.04.52 PM

But today, Korean thinking of wife role has changed that many of them think husband should also do the household affair with their wife. Accordingly,Banchangage’s(Side-dish market) growth is the one of the social phenomenon of more Korean women do work in society.

About Korea military-Does all Korean men HAVE to go military?

Yes. All Korean men should go to the military about 2years and the type of the military is divided as army, navy, air force, KATUSA(Korean Augmentation Troops to the United States Army), ROTC.

KATUSA-The most preferred military

Screen Shot 2014-12-13 at 4.53.35 PM

Normally when the boys get sophomore they go to the military and the most preferred military is KATUSA. This is because when they enter the KATUSA not only can learn English but also working environment is better than other Korea military.

If someone wants to apply the KATUSA they need at least TOEIC 780 or TOEFL 83. Even, there is an English institution for entering KATUSA and some of the classes are called “KATUSA road map” “KATUSA entrance class”. Before it was common for applying 2, 3 times and wait 2,3years to go KATUSA. But recently the law changed for preventing the negative effect like waiting few years and now people can only apply one time.

The way not to go military

2years are quite a long time and many methods are used to escape going military. Especially for celebration, singer, athletics, it is a big abandonment of the income, if they decide to go military when they are in best days. But the problem is Korean men should go military before getting 30 and can’t delay more longer. Some of them used the below way not to go military.

1. Weight

If someone is less than 40kg(88Ib) or more than 120kg(264Ib) can avoid going military. But this weight can be little different depends on the height. There were people who changed the weight and didn’t go military as eating more or eating less.

2. Birth tourism-US citizenship

Birth tourism was and are usually used for avoid going military. Birth tourism is travel to another country for the purpose of giving birth in that country that US is the most preferred for birth tourism. Korea grant citizenship by descent while US grant citizenship by birth that if someone’s parents have Korean citizenship and born in US can have both countries citizenship. However, when someone became 22years, he or she has to select between the two. If Korean men choose US citizenship, he can avoid going military.

Screen Shot 2014-12-13 at 4.06.33 PM

3. Tattoo in a body

If there is tattoo more than 70% in a body, they can be except for going military. Because of this reason, normally many gang members didn’t go the military. The reason of the rejection is military is a group life, but the big tattoo can make other solders feel aversion.

Screen Shot 2014-12-13 at 3.25.00 PM

4. Extraordinary way

-Disguise as a mental patient as depression, social phobia.

-Cut fingers with straw cutter for evading the military

-dislocate the shoulder for evading the military

-take out testicles and prostate for evading the military

These are the part of the ways which people used. However, if  these acts are found for the purpose of evading the military, he has to go to the prison between 1year and 5years.

Inside story-Korea plastic surgery

Since 1990s, people seeking for perfect beauty and new cosmetic surgeries trends have overflowed in Korea. Now Korea has world’s highest rate of cosmetic plastic surgery with the comparison of population. When I walk around the street or when taking a bus and subway, I can see the plastic surgery advertisement in everywhere.

Plastic surgery advertisement in the building

IMG_0384Plastic surgery advertisement in the subway

Screen Shot 2014-12-07 at 8.48.49 PM

Plastic surgery advertisement in the bus

Today, I will introduce the real inside story of plastic surgery in Korea.

Why Korea is crazy at plastic surgery?

  1. In my opinion, Korean people compare with other people a lot. For example, when parents meet their child’s friend parents, they ask a question as “Does your child studies well?” We also compare the looks with other people a lot. Accordingly, many of them choose plastic surgery to be more competitive in appearance.
  1. Lookism(외모지상주의 in Korean) is a frequently used word in Korea that it reflects the Korea society well. Lookism means positive stereotypes and preferential treatment given to people whose appearance matches cultural preferences.

“I will overlook because you’re pretty(예뻐서 봐주다)”

This is a sentence which commonly used especially from Korean men to women.

How I can feel that many people are doing plastic surgery?

1. I can see the people whose face is wrapped in bandage in a street about once a week. For your information, Gangnam, Shinsa, Apgujeong are the famous place for plastic surgery clinic and these people can be easily found in these street.

2. Before I was searching for orthopaedic in Shinsa street, but finally couldn’t find it. During that time, I only saw 30 plastic surgery clinic in a street. On the other day, I was searching for otolaryngology in same street and finally! found only one after walking 30-40minutes.

3. Some of the plastic surgery clinic seems like luxurious hotel and uses the whole building.

Screen Shot 2014-12-13 at 11.53.19 AM

Then which part people usually do the surgery?

This is differ from the age group

Age Type of surgery
19(Before the freshman year of college) Double eyelid surgery
